Announcing R.A. Mendoza's Relaunch of Poetic Pieces
R.A. Mendoza, after a flautist performance back in April 2005 at the Paramount Pictures Art
Opening for artist Kandice Cota, had a successful East Coast Tour 2005.
R.A. performed at the Philippine Independence Day Festival and Parade in New York City on
Sunday, June 5th where he was a featured spoken word artist and flautist located on Madision Avenue and East 23rd St. In addition, he performed and promoted his book at Passaic Park, New Jersey on Sunday, June 13th at the Philippine Festival there. At that time, he was interviewed by the Jersey internet radio station Pinoy Rock. In addition during his tour, he had a brief stint in Boston and other locations.
His launch of his P.O.E.T.I.C. Passages plaques was an immediate success.
R.A.'s next project will be to relaunch his book at the Festival of Philippine Arts and Cuture
(FPAC) at Point Fermin, San Pedro, CA on September 10th and 11th. We will have a booth at the Pan Pavillion which will be displaying his innovative P.O.E.T.I.C. Plaques, impromptu performances including some of his poetry and flute playing for an intimate audience.
R.A. will be performing his spoken word poetry, performances of his flute playing, and
relaunching of his book Poetic Pieces (a newer glossier cover and an additional page to a short story) throughout the year.
